Introducing iGaming Startups Series: Interview with Spinorium

At OnlyiGaming, we’re always on the lookout for startups that are breaking barriers and redefining what's possible in the iGaming space. Today, we’re excited to feature Spinorium, a revolutionary no-code platform that empowers slot providers to build games faster, smarter, and without technical limitations. In this exclusive interview with Mykhailo Davydov, CEO and Co-Founder of Spinorium, we dive into the company’s journey — from its bold beginnings to its game-changing innovations — and discover how it’s reshaping game development for the modern iGaming world.

1. What is your company name, and what does it specialize in?
Spinorium is a revolutionary no-code builder that helps slot providers
create slot games with unique mechanics twice as fast, eliminating the need to hire
additional developers. Spinorium enables slot providers to bring games to market
faster and saving their budget.

2. Can you describe your mission in a sentence or two?
Our mission is to relieve game providers from technical pain and limitations, enabling
them to focus on creativity and innovation without the technical barriers.

Founding Story

3. When was your company founded, and by whom?
Spinorium was founded by Mykhailo Davydov (CEO) and Dmytro Chumak (CTO) in
2021.

4. What inspired you to start this company?
As firm believers in the idea of ‘automate everything that can be automated,’ we
constantly sought ways to develop faster, with higher quality, and with greater ease.
After 15 years in IT and 8 years in iGaming, we created more than a dozen tools to
streamline development. Three years ago, the idea struck us — the future lies with
no-code and AI, and we realized that if we didn’t keep up, we’d fall behind.
This realization led us to Spinorium, a solution created to tackle the biggest
challenges faced by slot providers.
We saw firsthand how difficult it was to create high-quality games on time, with
teams often struggling with technical barriers that slowed down the process.
Spinorium was born out of the need to help providers accelerate development
without compromising on quality, and to empower them to focus on what truly
matters — creativity, innovation, and growth.

Key Innovations or Products

5. What are your key offerings or products?
Our key offering is an innovative no-code builder that enables slot providers to create
groundbreaking games twice as fast, without compromising on quality. We’ve
created a technology that allows game creators to focus on what truly excites them
— crafting creative mechanics and groundbreaking ideas — rather than getting
bogged down in technical details that often slow down the development process.
Spinorium removes these technical barriers, enabling providers to accelerate their
development and bring high-quality, unique games to market faster, saving both time
and budget.

6. What makes your products or services unique in the iGaming industry?
In the past, there were slot game constructors available, but they weren’t true no-
code solutions. These constructors lacked the flexibility to create games with a wide
variety of mechanics, offering only a set of basic tools. Spinorium, on the other hand,
is always expanding to meet the needs of providers. For instance, if a provider
requires a custom mechanic, we can add it within 1-2 weeks, and it’s immediately
available for use.
Spinorium-made games require 50% less testing time since assembled mechanics
almost always work out of the box, thanks to Spinorium's 95% auto-test coverage.
In addition to speed, using Spinorium's team of Assemblers instead of Senior Front-
End Engineers results in a 19% savings on budget and eliminates the need to hire
top-tier professionals.
Moreover, Spinorium enables game designers to create innovative mechanics faster
and easier, allowing for a more precise alignment with gamers' expectations and
increasing engagement.
It’s not just about quantity — it’s about quality, unique mechanics, and speed. This
combination takes the entire industry to a whole new level.

Challenges and Achievements

7. What are some challenges you've faced as a startup, and how have you overcome them?
One of the major challenges we faced was convincing game providers that such
technology exists. Many of them were skeptical, even after seeing it in action.
Breaking through their conservative thinking was tough. To overcome this, we
created detailed demos and a test-web version of Spinorium, allowing providers to
try it out themselves and see the real results.
From a technical perspective, building Spinorium required expert engineers, which
sometimes clashed with our budget constraints. To tackle this, we chose to develop
it without external investments. We crafted a roadmap that allowed us to scale
quickly by bringing in younger engineers, which helped us expand Spinorium without
compromising on quality.

8. What milestones or achievements are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the core engine behind Spinorium, which is highly effective
and optimized, enabling us to build feature-rich games in the simplest way possible.
This is what truly differentiates Spinorium and makes game development faster and
more efficient.
Another key milestone is our no-code editor, which we believe has made a small
revolution in iGaming. It allows game providers to scale faster, resolve fewer
technical issues, and hire younger talents at more affordable rates, all while keeping
development in-house.
Additionally, we’ve integrated an AI amplifier using the ChatGPT model, which allows
Spinorium to generate new prototypes in minutes, saving game designers hours or
even days.
Finally, our internally developed Game Launcher toolkit, with over a dozen tools, has
streamlined development and testing processes, making them faster and simpler for
everyone involved.

Future Goals

9. What are your goals for the future?
The goal is to continuously enhance Spinorium to deliver even more value to game
providers. The plan includes extending the no-code builder to cover 99% of the
world's features, offering developers greater flexibility and faster game creation.
AI integration will also be expanded to further accelerate development and introduce
more sophisticated game mechanics, streamlining processes and cutting
development time.
Additionally, template sets will be introduced to make the prototype phase quicker
and more efficient, while easy tweaks will ensure smoother customization.
Another focus is to extend the animation capabilities within Spinorium, allowing
100% of operations to be performed within the platform, giving game designers more
creative freedom and improving the overall workflow.

10. Do you have any upcoming launches, partnerships, or plans for growth?
Yes, we have exciting developments planned for the near future! In the upcoming
months, we will be launching several key features to further enhance the
development process for our users:
● Animation Editor Extension: Advanced tools for creating and editing
animations, enhancing visual effects and interactivity.
● Art Filters Support: A feature to add unique visual effects that enhance the
art style and aesthetics of games.
● Bitmap Font Generator: A tool that generates custom bitmap fonts for
improved performance and readability in games.
● Game Optimization Analyzer: A tool designed to analyze game
performance, identify areas for optimization, and ensure smoother gameplay.
● Remote Mobile Device Testing: A feature that allows testing games on
mobile devices remotely, ensuring compatibility across multiple platforms.
Beyond these features, we are actively working on expanding Spinorium's
partnerships, not just to increase our number of partners, but to align with like-
minded companies who share our vision for innovation. We are open to any
partnerships that can help strengthen Spinorium and push the boundaries of the
iGaming industry.
