At OnlyiGaming.com, we’re happy to present to you the first featured startup from our new initiative, iGaming Startups, a free platform dedicated to showcasing the innovators reshaping the iGaming industry. Each month, we’ll highlight a standout startup that’s making an impact.

Today, we’re excited to feature Sports Innovation, a company redefining sports and iGaming marketing through digital innovation.

Meet Sports Innovation

Founded in 2016 by Morten Marcussen and Martin Svensson, Sports Innovation was born from a passion for sports and technology. Their mission is to make marketing in the iGaming sector more engaging and impactful by providing tools that are both innovative and effective.

What Makes Sports Innovation Special?

Sports Innovation is a Danish-based startup that isn't just about creating tools, it's about solving problems for sports clubs, bookmakers, and affiliates. Here’s what they bring to the table:

Stories Tool: Engaging, interactive stories optimized for web and mobile. These grab attention and boost clicks.
Custom Club Apps: Tailored apps that strengthen connections between football clubs and fans.
AI-Generated Articles: High-quality, automated content ideal for newsletters and websites.
Dynamic Banners: User-friendly tools for creating eye-catching display ads.
Odds Comparison Widgets: Simple and effective solutions to enhance affiliate pages.

Every product is designed with users in mind, focusing on performance, ease of use, and measurable results.

Success in Action: The STORIES Tool

A great example of Sports Innovation’s impact is their work with Squawka, a leading UK football site. Squawka was struggling with low engagement and click-through rates. Sports Innovation introduced their STORIES tool, turning Squawka’s landing pages into dynamic, mobile-friendly hubs.

The results?

Over 3,800 impressions and 309 clicks in just one month.
A stellar 7.93% click-through rate.
Increased user retention and more conversions.

The STORIES tool’s visual appeal and user-friendly format proved to be a game-changer.

Overcoming Challenges and Building Success

Every startup faces challenges, and Sports Innovation is no exception. Developing groundbreaking tools like STORIES required persistence, collaboration, and a strong commitment to innovation. The results speak for themselves:

Becoming Denmark’s leading developer of football club apps.
Launching the STORIES tool, which has been well-received by early adopters.

Looking to the Future

Sports Innovation is just getting started. They’re focused on expanding their tools, forging new partnerships, and continuing to empower businesses in the sports and iGaming industries. Their goal? To help clients achieve success with smarter, more effective marketing solutions.
